When Is A Walk-in Clinic Open?

Most Walk-in clinics and Urgent Care centers will be open at night, on the weekend and public holidays. There will inevitably be times which are more busy than others, such as when doctors offices are closed, but generally you will be seen quicker here than an Emergency room anyway.

In the Walk-in clinic the more people in front of you waiting, the longer it will be until you are seen as it works on a first come – first served basis. You can always call the Walk-in clinic you want to go to and find out how long it might be before you are seen. If you arrive at an Urgent Care clinic and there is no one ahead of you, you will be seen straight away.

While urgent care centers are usually not open 24 hours a day, 70% of centers in the United States open by 8:00 a.m. or earlier and 95% close after 7:00 p.m
